The 112CO2 consortium is committed to reducing carbon emissions. On November 13th, we held our fifth conference call, providing a forum to present recent results, deliberate on experiment outcomes, and plan for the future. During the meeting, the consortium emphasized the need to increase the number of publications to meet the KPIs set in the Grant Agreement. Additionally, the 112CO2 partners are committed to organizing two more open days at DLR and CSIC, along with continuing to host a conference on methane splitting and related initiatives. Through robust communication and collaboration among consortium members, our aim is to advance the development of a groundbreaking catalytic reactor that employs low-temperature methane splitting. This innovative process economically generates hydrogen and solid carbon, making a substantial contribution to reducing carbon emissions in the energy sector.
