The International Hydrogen Summer School (2nd edition) was a great opportunity for many students and non-students of UPORTO to expand their knowledge. The scope of the event will include electrochemistry and hydrogen purification, fuel cells and photoelectrochemical cells, and catalytic methane decomposition, transversal topics to the 112CO2 project.
This event was hybrid: with presential and online participants, to enhance the reach of the summer school. The speakers involved in this event included key members of the consortium partners as well as invited guests with high credentials in the subjects proposed.
The event finished with an "Open Day", where the participants were guided through the laboratories and had the privilege to see the technology being developed by the partners at UPORTO.
In the afternoon, the session was closed with a Round Table on "The Hydrogen Era", where key members of the industry, academia and politics were invited to share opposing views on the proposed issue. This discussion sparked an interesting debate between the speakers and the participants.
The online event was streamed online in the 112CO.eu website, which has a dedicated tab to the summer school. In this tab, participants could register for the event, check the program, and find out more about each speaker invited to the event.
