The final day of the Summer School included an "Open Day", where UPORTO showcased the technology being developed and the facilities where the work has been carried out

During the open day, the participants were divided into small groups and visited four different labs. The visits encompassed the following installations:

- Low-temperature Polymer Electrolyte Membrane Fuel Cells (PEMFC)

- Photoelectrochemical (PEC) cells

- Solar redox flow cell (SRFC)

- Proton exchange membrane (PEM) and Anion exchange membrane (AEM) water electrolysis

- Methane decomposition – regeneration of catalytic materials

- Purification of green hydrogen – PSA approach

- Carbon molecular sieve membranes (CMSM) for H2 separation
