The 22nd European Meeting on Environmental Chemistry was hosted in Ljubljana, Serbia, from December 5th to 8th. Among the participants, Vitor Pereira had the opportunity to present his research on the development of novel methane decomposition reactors, with the presentation "New reactor approach for low-temperature catalytic methane decomposition", for which he was awarded the "Best Oral Presentation" prize.
This work is being developed in the scope of the 112CO2 project, in the hopes of contributing to the industrialization of this technology and decarbonization of the energy sector, through the production of clean and cheap hydrogen.
