Dr. Lukas Pfeifer obtained his PhD from the University of Oxford in 2017 for his work on novel methods and reagents for carbon-fluorine bond formation, carried out in the group of Prof. V. Gouverneur. He subsequently joined the lab of Prof. B. L. Feringa at the University of Groningen, where he spent three years working on the development of novel molecular motors. In July 2020, he moved to Lausanne to join the team of Prof. M. GrÀtzel at EPFL as a Scientist, where he is working on several projects related to 3rd generation solar cells, methane splitting, and redox flow batteries.
